If someone could prove their ‘psychic’ abilities, would law enforcement hire them or would they simply arrest the person and believe they are part of the crime?

Are there any psychics that can try and read me? And also how do you recieve readings? And can you post me any links that give information about psychics as i am a little confused about what psychics actually do and how they make predictions? Im just curious.

As an Atheist, I could hardly believe that despite our achievement in science and technology, we still believe in this crap. You would expect to see psychics in 3rd world countries where shamans rule the villages, not in America.

I am currently unemployed. I have received a job offer with really good pay. The boss however is extremely unethical and hot headed. I fear the job will be too stressful. I am stuck between a rock and a hard spot.

Almost all psychics use a method called cold reading, where they use visual clues from the person they are giving a reading to and very vague statements in order to make people think that they can tell the future or talk to the dead. Do you think most psychics know that they are using cold reading and are being dishonest? Or do you think that they are so naturally good at cold reading that they think that they are really psychic?

I know Catholics think that psychics are bad, but Episcopalians do tend to be more "liberal" so to speak so what is their view? Also… if they don’t believe in psychics either what is the real reasoning behind it I’ve never really gotten the whole point of it?

I just keep getting this feeling in my gut that as soon as we start pulling out troops out of Iraq, we’re going to start placing them in other military bases throughout the rest of the world because I just feel something is starting a boil. Almost like a chess game, the world leaders are planning their strategies for attacks. I feel Russia will also be involved in this, but not as our allies but our enemies.

Ah, psychic abilities are human abilities and may be off. I have learned something, thank you. I thought it was a sense, just like the traditional five.

Michael Jordan may not have hit the basket every time, but I’m reasonably sure he saw it on the majority of occasions.

All I’m saying is that if you have this ability, why not put it to work? Give us a location. Commit to it. Don’t just come back after they’re found and say "oh, I had a psychic flash of that…"

I am aware there are males who are interested in these subjects. I don’t know of any who admit to it. I’ve noticed however that the majority interested is female. Why would that be?
