Yes, and Most of the time……….
A Wiccan and Proud
-Why?
I dont personally. I want to stay as far away from those things.
they are as accurate as the person who reads them
they are a tool used by psychics … if the psychic isnt well developed then the reading wont be great
and vice versa
They are true, but ambiguous. If you’re going to get a Tarot deck for yourself, only purchase the Thoth deck; it works the absolute best, by far. Palm reading’s ambiguity is hard to outdo.
no. load of s@@t
If you do, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.
No I don’t because most of the time they tell you things that alomost anyone can predict… I think they are fun though anyways
can they read the lines on my butt-hole?
no,no
i do to a point but most people doing them are not professionals
Christians are warned not to deal in that sort of thing.
It’s a load of old shite!!
Palm lines are God made.
Torot is man made.
What do you belive.
NO—-they only want your money.
Nope…
But then I don’t involve myself with anything witchcraft. (i.e. tarot, palm, numerology, horoscopes)…
Best wishes that it doesn’t lead you down a rabbit trail…
As in all things, it depends on who is the interpreter of the tarot or the lines on your hand.
I don’t think they are true, but I do think they are fun
Hello Dawn,
I think when you allow a person to dictate your future via occult practises you at the worst are opening your self up to powers you don’t know anything about or which could be ultimate evil. And at best are contributing to a very lucrative business all about making money out of vulnerable people. Getting mixed up in these things is like accepting a sweet from a stranger in the street. You have no idea whats in it and your trusting a complete stranger.
Cause I believe in them,. Are they true? Well if Satan tells the truth, (Which he can’t because he’s the prince of lies) then yeah thye are true. But as Satan the guy that started that rubbish then i wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
in Tarot the cards are merely a tool, they give a catalyst to make it easier to quantify things.
as said, its only as good as the one doing it.
personally (yes, even though I’m jewish…its not as contradictory as you might think) I have a tarot deck, and it worked for me on the first shot at it.
it can be quite reliable, but again… it depends on the person using it.
personally my deck is a Golden Dawn version, which is indeed different than your "standard". the "standard" one that most people that don’t know much about it, think of, is the Rider-Waite version.
the Golden Dawn version is what I got because it has more of the Kabbalistic stuff, and thus "fits" me and my views quite well.
John, so… how do you explain when people who belive, and follow God, use it, and get true-answers and information from these means?
They are both highly successful methods at parting stupid people from their money.
Frauds and cheats, the lot of them.
Superstitious nonsense.
It depends more, I would think, on the person doing the reading. For example, if I read a person’s palm, I’m pretty sure it would be 100% BS and if anything came true, it would be luck on my part. I heard that in the 1920’s (?), there was a guy everyone called ‘Cairo’ that was incredibly accurate at palm reading.
As far as Tarot goes, I don’t know much myself.
There is power in them but it’s not good, I’m afraid, it’s not from God, therefore it’s from the evil one, I used to hold tarot parties and once had my palm read but when I met Jesus I stopped straight away because I knew it was wrong.
Not at all; most "readers" are just very good armchair psychologists, good at getting their customers to reveal things about themselves without realising it. If you’ve ever watched a TV "psychic", you’ll notice what leading questions they ask, and people give them information without realising, and the next thing you know, "revelation!" They are also good at figuring out what people want to hear and giving it to them.
If they were really interested in doing it for altruistic motives, they wouldn’t charge; they do, and each session is more expensive than the last. That ought to tell you something.
Having tried to do them both myself, I discovered by accident that when I had a lot to drink I could do them very accurately, even with complete strangers. On holiday once, I attracted a large crowd who all wanted their palms read by me when they heard the accuracy I was giving to others (I do not remember any of it as I was out of my tree!).
I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t their palms I was reading but that I was good at picking up ‘vibes’, so used the same principal with my tarot cards with similar results.
So yes and no really, I certainly wouldn’t pay to have either of them done by anyone else as I don’t believe if you really had that gift you would want to charge for it.
They’re as true as reading tea leaves, or looking at the stars for a sign… IOW, it’s the person doing the reading that has to be true, not the tool they use. E.g. I’m perfectly capable of weilding a hammer, but that doesn’t make me a carpenter.
yes tarot cards when used with a meduim can tell a lot…palm reading im not so sure about that i dont think so……

Hello Dawn 7,
Thanks for posting your question. Quite a few people wonder about likewise questions here at yahoo.
I am a psychologist from the Netherlands and a few years ago I have executed various research experiments to answere this question myself – in interaction with professional handanalysts from all over the word.
I reported the results of my experiments at:
http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/overzichtEngels.htm
PS. The results indicate that handanalysts (palm-readers) overestimate the validity and reliabilty of their observations – sometimes hand-analysts come to contradictive conclusions founded on observations made from a single pair of hands!!
