Innocent palm reading or something more?

Ok so my guy friend of many years and I were sitting on the couch watching a movie. After a while, he reaches for my hand and holds it. Then he pulls my hand closer to his chest and kisses the top of my hand twice. And then turns my hand around and acts like he is reading my palm and tells me what the different lines mean. Then he lets go and acts normal for the rest of the movie. And when we hugged goodbye (our normal friend hug) he softly kissed my cheek while I was hugging him. What should I do? How should I react? I’m so confused!!

These are really confusing situations…i’ve been there…it may be that he likes you as more than a friend and wants to let you know he may be taking the "actions speak louder than words" approach..
on the other hand he may just be letting you know how much you mean to him as a friend..one of my best friends is a guy and i know that sometimes i really want to show him how much he means to me but i’m never sure how..so maybe this is what your friend is trying to show
on the reaction front, i’d see whether it happens again and then if it does and he makes another move, maybe you should confront him and ask him!

if you don’t feel comfortable then tell him your not ready for something like that, he wants your body too.
He likes you and is trying to show you that without scaring you off. If you like him back, then react in a positive way.

Definitely something more, if you like him as more then a friend try going out on a date. Ask him out for a drink, lunch or a more romantic date and see if you have chemistry to be more then friends.
I think he likes you more than you think- he is checking to see if you think of him as more than just a friend.
