I don’t think so. If you’re right handed, they’d read the right hand. If you’re left handed, they’d read the right.
Some palm readers read both, so it doesn’t really matter, I guess.

Left and right makes no difference. There is a major hand and a minor hand. Actual events, active character traits, are found on the major hand only.The major hand is your hand most used, left or right. Your minor hand determine inherited factors.
