Psychics what can I do to improve my bad situation at work ?

I’m at this job since two months . And I’ve been noticing lots of problems .
There is favouritism by my boss and so much office politics .There are no important/challenging assignments allocated to me .
I feel so bored the whole day. What do you pick up on my situation and is there any thing I can do to improve my work situation please?

You’re right. You’re gonna have to stick with this job until next year when things will change (this I mentioned before). Nothing can be done.
Regarding projects that are going to your fellow newbie colleague instead of you, I am shown that there is a reason, and that this was actually discussed even before he got the position. So this may not be favoritism ….it may simply mean that he is doing something that he was specifically hired to do. From his name I dont pick up any politics (he seems to be alright)
However I do see that your manager might have favorites. You aren’t in her bad books but I dont think she cares much about you.
You can discuss any concerns you have but I dont see anything changing.
You will move on in 2010. Until then, hang in there.
