Is astrology or tarot card readings real?

I received a reading from a tarot card reader that scared the crap out of me. Everything said I already felt. Should I believe it or not?

if anyone knows about palm reading tell me what this is supposed to mean?

You know the way most people have a head line and a heart line, on my hand these two lines are joined so I just have one that goes straight across the centre…. anyone know what this is supposed to mean because my friend reads palms and she was confused by it.
I didn’t say I believed in this I don’t, at the same time I don’t want to offend anyone who does because I’d imagine they will be the only people able to give me an answer for this… if you don’t know grand grab your 2 points and be off but please refrain from telling me its all crap, a waste of money or whatever. Your not being at all productive.
