If you think palm reading may be valid, how about this one.
Rumpology, also known as butt reading, is the art of reading the lines, crevices, dimples, and folds of the buttocks to divine the butt owner’s character and get a glimpse of what lies ahead by analyzing what trails behind.
According to Jacqueline Stallone, a foremost American rumpologist, rump reading is an art that was practiced in ancient Babylon, India, Greece, and Rome. She claims that the ancient Greeks thought the butt was the key to health and fidelity. She says the Romans used butt prints the way some people use graphology today: to determine potential talents and future success.
Ulf Buck is a Rump Reader from Meldorf, Germany. He’s also blind, yet he claims he can read people’s futures by feeling their naked buttocks. (Ivan Kelly calls him an asstrologer.) Buck says he spent many years training his fingers to do the reading, a practice he started on a small circle of friends but which has grown to include many prominent people, including a stockbroker who apparently invests depending on his butt bumps. Buck says that rumps "have lines like those on the palm of the hand, which can be read to reveal much about character and destiny. An apple-shaped, muscular bottom indicates someone who is charismatic, dynamic, very confident and often creative. A person who enjoys life. A pear-shaped bottom suggests someone very steadfast, patient and down-to-earth." Ulf has no comment on those whose rumps are on their shoulders
I think it’s fun, but I do not take it seriously. Statements that they make are so broad that almost anyone can relate it to some situation in their life.
Palm reading are better and accurate(if the person is doing it right n knows how to)i myself got a palm reading in india and it was sooo true.
I had it done once, the lady told me I was going to have 6 children in my future o_0
I think palm reading is the best sometimes they tell the truth and sometimes they dont but its worth the 5 dollars in the end.
i had it done once and it was true so it’s ok if you want to havce a bit of light fun
i love it i got mine told a few year back and she told me that i was going to have a little girl get married and my husband was going to walk out just b 4 my daughters 6th birthday and it all came true scarrrrrrrrrry or wot .
The same as i do about tarot
interesting, fun but dont base anything on it
I had it done and was very impressed. With any kind of advice, whether it is from a psychic or on yahoo. answers, take what you want to and disgard the rest. Go with an open mind.
i think palm reading can be interesting & kinda accurate if the reader actually knows what there doing.
Jen got it exactly right. It’s like any clairvoyancy. They keep ranting through various totally ambiguous points until they pick up on something you can relate to.
E.g. "er… do you have a friend with brown hair who you spoke to in the last year"
My wife is into that stuff and she dragged me to one a few years ago and it was quite funny. I was told that I was going to be successful and live in a nice house, after I told her that I was studying to be a Radiologist – well DUH!
I prefer spending my money elsewhere. The only clairvoyants that I trust are the weathermen – and even they don’t get it right that often. That’s with millions of pounds worth of technology helping them out!
Can’t rely on Palm readers.
One told my dear old mum when she was aged 47 that she would live till she was 92. She was nearly 93 when she died.
i think that possibly there are ppl out there who can do things like that but i dont believe in the ones from like magazines and stuff but i do think there fun! lol
Ya…its just a fun.
I started studying how to read palms. It was pretty interesting.
It’s tool and should be used as such.
If they aren’t charging very much you could spend a couple of bucks and test the theory for yourself.
One thing is for certain, that touch is highly susceptible when seeing things about people. Especially the hands because when people take physical actions it is usually done with the hands.
A lot of times, when people do these actions that require hands to be in use it is whatever it is that is being done that that person makes a choice within side themselves to take on these actions.
When it comes to palm readings, some people have the gift of knowing the truth, and some don’t.
I think it can add to some insight to a persons personality but it isn’t fully definitive and shouldn’t be used exclusively.
I love it, but what i have been told not a great deal has happened, but i am really in to it so that would not stop me.
I had one a long time ago when I only had one child. The gypsy told me I would have three children. She got that right. The money is still to come.
I tried it once, but I fell out of the tree.
Hello M. Bogdan,
Palm reading has so many fascinating aspects … especially the psychology which makes that people get easily fooled by a ‘bogus palm reader’.
As a matter of fact: a few years ago I have done a very interesting PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT with a couple of palm reading students:
I asked the palm reading students to give me a photo + inkprint of their hands …. and in return I promissed them to present a personality profile designed by a PROFESSIONAL palm reader.
A few weeks later:
After receiving their personality profile most of the students were very excited about their ‘personal’ profile. They rated their profiles with an average of 4.2 (on a scale from 1 to 5)!!!
However … one hour later I was able to get each of them confused, since …. I had to admit that I had given each of them THE SAME (bogus) PERSONALITY PROFILE!
You can read more details at:
http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/psychoEngels.htm
PS. Nevertheless, in case you have the nerves & guts to read more from my website … you will probably find out that the result of my psychological experiment …. actually DOESN’T IMPLICATE AT ALL that the whole practice of PALM READING should be considered as ‘bogus’!!!!!
Actually, at least certain medical aspects of Palm Reading are as matter of fact ‘valid’ ÁND ‘reliable’!!
it is a very intersting and fasinating topic. I am now a quest to find out more. The history of it is very intersting also …. I found a detailed write up on the history of it here http://www.fortunesandstars.com/content/view/2018/99/
its a bit of a laff…but a load of bull.
if you look at the rings on a cut palm tree and other trees it will give you a rough guide on how many years it has been around…
;0)
no i don,t believe in it
