its all to do with how planets are aligned when you are born, they change frequently so to have your time of birth is important if you want a realy thourough and personal reading just for you.

tgem30, astrology is NOT a science by the very definition of the word science. Science measures observable data, astrology does not. Even if there were merit to astrology, we’re all one sign off of our true sign as the earth has "wobbled" enough that the constelations are in different positions in the sky as they were 3,000 years ago.
The time of your birth has NOTHING to do with astrology or tarot. I should say, astrology and tarot have nothing to do with you. If there was anything to them, they would go by the time you were CONCEIVED, not BORN.
cdf-rom is completely right. Astrology and tarot reading have no bearing on us UNLESS you try to base all your decisions on them. They are fake.

Astrology is a science. It’s a science that has been used for many many years, even before Christ. It’s even spoken about in the bible by the way. The time of birth determines where all the planets were when you are born. Different planets have different influences on everyone. The time of birth determines your rising sign which is just a small part of your personality profile. Astrology is not just about your sun sign. There are many more aspects to study. By the way, those horoscopes you read in magazines, don’t even come close to the real thing. Those are just for fun. As far as for the tarot readings, my guess would be that the person doing the reading is trying to read into your personality and vibrations, but don’t be convinced by just any fool that claims to be able to read you the tarot. The people that are the real deal don’t charge. Remember that.

Nothing to do with tarot. astrology is very complex. In order to do a chart on someone you need the time of birth. You get an ephemeris which shows location of planets at specific times. You need to change time for place of birth — everything is calculated in Greenwich time. Then you make a circle and divide into 12 houses. Each one has it’s own meaning and where the planets fall in each house has meaning also. also the relationship of the planets to each other (how close or far they are from each other) for ex. I’m a capricorn but I have an Aquarius rising (a rising also called an ascendant) is whatever sign the first house falls in. I also have the moon in Aquarius in the first house, this explains why I am not as organized as most capricorns. That’s the short version. It takes alot of study to interpret charts. I can cast them, but I rely on book definitions mostly to interpret them (especially the aspects which I’m going to go into now. If you are serious, there are some good books out there on horoscopes.
