well ee now I already asked this question a while ago. Apparently according to the lovely people, an idiot can tell the difference and that a prophet speaks the word of god. No mention of which god, but there you go. Basically if you aresaying what people want to hear then you are a prophet and if you’re not then you are the devil. Its basically egotism. You can hear about prphets of long ago and believe in them, but if you are faaced with someone, who see’s visions and hears god speak then they are either crazy or possessed. they can’t possibly be prophets becasue they can’t possibly be someone you know

A true prophet not only gets his ‘insight’ from God, but ‘delivers’ it for God’s purposes. Not of his own or for his own gain; financially or otherwise. Psychics generally don’t seek God for His Wisdom. Neither do they credit or glorify Him with their self- serving practices.
Though they may seem to ‘help’ some people, their info comes from ‘familiar spirits’ i.e. fallen angels who are familiar with the details and events of peoples lives.

Prophets are messengers from God. Psychics are not from God. They are used of Satan.
Satan cannot create anything. Therefore, he COPIES things of God. Only spiritual discernment can give you the wisdom to "know" which is which.
Something can actually look like a duck, quack like a duck, but not be a duck. A decoy is a copycat of the real thing. If you heard a duck call in the woods, you would not be able to detect the real from the decoy if you didn’t first "know" what a real duck sounds like.
A bank clerk is taught to "know" what an authentic dollar bill looks like. They examine it over and over, so that when a counterfeit shows up (because it will), they can detect it right away. The same holds true in the spiritual realm. The closer we walk with Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him, we will have spiritual discernment to "know" the counterfeit (Satan) right away and rebuke him.
